Yuriy Surkov

Serge Serov



In 1990 Yuriy Surkov graduated from the Moscow Art School of the Year 1905. His creative work is connected with poster, advertising and book. In 1992 he established Suric Design studio. The member of Artists Union of Russia. The academician of the Academy of Graphic Design beginning from 1999. His works are marked by artistic erudition, attention to internal life of the word that allows to elicit unexpected visual effects from the literary base. His artistic language can be described by significant formula „minimax“, that is minimum of shape and maximum of sense. Surik is one of several artists in Russia, who is considered to be a successor of Russian constructivists.
