Editor’s Letter

American issue of [kAk) was an attempt to understand the part of American design in modern visual culture. We relied entirely upon the list of designers Steven Heller advised us to invite in our issue, although half of names was unknown to us. But then we got an acquaintance with new interesting people. We have been preparing this issue more than half a year. All this taught us a lot, especially to appreciate friendship and good relation to us.
